Made from white grape Kisi and fermented in Qvevri, this is a traditional style Georgian amber wine. Kisi has pronounced flavour of apricot, dried yellow fruits, spices and honey, with good acidity as background that reminds us of Riesling from cold weather. An ideal wine for seafood platters, sushi and sashimi, and goat cheeses.
Grape: Kisi
About Kisi: Can be understood as Riesling of Georgia. Kisi vines produce a relatively small number of grapes, which ripen mid-season. While both classical European and traditional Georgian wines produced from Kisi grapes have unforgettable aromas and flavours, the wines made in qvevri are characterized by aromas of ripe pear, marigold, tobacco, and walnut.
