Collection: Liguria: Selvadolce

Inspired by Nicholas Joly, Aris Blancardi started to practice biodynamic in his family vineyards in Liguria (Northern Italy, South of Piedmont), and makes white wines with natural yeast fermentation, extended skin contact times, and long aging on lees (sometimes up to 4 years sur lie!). All wines are bottled without fining and filtration, resulting in wines with a glorious creamy texture and viscosity which was thought to be impossible from this seaside wine region.

This is a very small estate, and only around 10,000 bottles of wines are crafted each year. The labels of the wine are designed by the artist Sergio Lazzaretti.
