Collection: Tuscany: Ficomontanino

Ficomontanino means "little fig hill", it is located at the border between Tuscany, Lazio and Umbria. Maria Sole's grandfather started planting vines on a hill rich in sand and clay 30 years ago. Maria Sole took over the winery around 8 years ago, she is one of the most promising female winemakers in the country now.

Inspired by Tenute Dettori and Ar.Pe.Pe., Maria Sole works with biodynamic viticulture and her wines are characterized by unique smell of geranium and peony. These are sheer wines which has more structure than fruit concentration, the taste of wet earth, forest floor and tobacco are simply unforgetable.
