Collection: Abruzzo: Tiberio

Founded in 2000, Tiberio is now run by the sister and brother team of Cristiana and Antonio Tiberio.  All of their vines are dry farmed without any pesticides and herbcides. They do not use any plastic in their vineyard operations to encourage biodiversity.

Tiberio wines are some of the most pure and expressive in our range.  All wines offer tremedous value and are essential drinking in order to understand the region Abruzzo. Around the world, the three single vineyard wines have became collector's item.

【Tiberio：抽盲盒的葡萄農】

在一塊葡萄田裡種植不同品種的葡萄，是意大利的葡萄農的一個小傳統，用意是為葡萄田帶來生態上的平衡。
當 Tiberio 姊弟 Cristiana 和 Antonio 發現祖傳葡萄田裡形態獨特的一株時，他們完全不知道它是什麼品種，葡萄的果實看上去像 Trebbiano，然而呈圓形的葉子看起來卻像另一品種。葡萄經鑑定後證實是 Pecorino，姊弟笑稱當時連這葡萄也沒聽過，抽盲盒般遇上了它。

時間回到1999年。抽盲盒的故事源自姊弟的爸爸 Riccardo，當年他旨在尋找 Trebbiano白葡萄的高質植群，走遍了 Cugnoli一帶，竟讓他發現了 Trebbiano Abruzzese 老樹，二話不說在小鎮買屋買田又買地，用心地釀造他的 Trebbiano Abruzzese來... 也許是上天對老實人的獎勵，葡萄田裡也混入了數株 Pecorino，讓姊弟倆以此登上「三大最佳 Pecorino*」的寶座，酒莊也被喻為「意酒不二之選其一**」。
