From the single vineyard "Laurey". A perfect wine to understand "what is Carema". It had all the elements of a Barbaresco, but the freshness and breeze on the mid palate screamed Carema.
Winemaking: Grapes were destemmed, pressed, and fermented with natural yeast in concrete tanks. 1.5 months skin maceration, aged 20 months in tonneau.
Winery notes: Remarkable structure while maintaining the typical elegance of Carema wines. Good savoury and excellent freshness which give a beautiful progression and a long persistence.
